Hello, I'm Muskan!
I'm a Communication Design student at the IDC School of Design, IIT Bombay, with an undergraduate degree in Animation & Game Design.
My journey in design began with an immersive exploration of the lives of people in Old Manali as part of the Environmental Exposure course during the first semester of my undergraduate studies to a meticulous collection of 432 different textures of objects and cultural artefacts found in the Parvati Valley from trees barks, animal fur, and house exteriors to build a texture library of my own for Game Design in a later semester.
My creative journey has taken me from crafting immersive museum experiences for the National Heritage Maritime Museum to storytelling through a mixed-media animation film. Along the way, I strategised and executed communication for 'Sikkim Together,' an initiative to combat Covid-19 challenges in rural Sikkim and spread awareness about the plastic waste issue in the Indian Himalayan Region. Each phase has enabled me to explore and delve into new realms of design.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I find joy in playing Scrabble, swimming, taking long walks, and experimenting with new recipes.
